How is this different from Fish Tales Told Here?

Fish Tales shows a fish leaping from the waves on a line, with “sizes may vary.” This one is a straight confession with a big deadpan bass.

Is this a good Father's Day gift?

For a dad who fishes, yes. Every fishing dad has been accused of stretching the truth at least once.

Can the sticker go on a water bottle or cooler?

Yes. It's a durable vinyl sticker that holds up to everyday handling and the occasional splash. Hand wash anything it's stuck to; dishwashers wear stickers down.

About this design

Honest about taxes, honest about directions, honest about who ate the last donut. Ask about the fish, though, and all bets are off. A cheerful confession for the angler who stretches exactly one truth.

A big gold-and-olive bass with dark spots, a spiky dorsal fin and a slightly unimpressed expression swims sideways across a round vintage badge, filling it against a teal sunburst. “I ONLY LIE ABOUT” follows the top of the ring in cream, and “THE FISH” finishes the sentence in gold below.

The sticker fits on a tackle box, a rod case or the cooler that comes home suspiciously empty.

Who it's for

Fishing dads on Father's Day, story-telling grandpas and the buddy who always “just missed” a monster are the obvious candidates. It also makes a good thank-you after a fishing trip.
